3G/4G Services coming to Pakistan
As after a long time, the 3G and 4G licences will be auctioned on April, 23, 2014, the expectations of the customer waiting for upcoming 3G services in Pakistan are not so good as it is come to know that the cellular companies getting 3G and 4G licences will highly charge the services for its Pakistani customers. These prices will go upto $20 to $50 as monthly charges of 3G services. There is no any kind of 3G packages in Pakistan announced yet, but however, it is expected that the companies getting the licences will charge their licence fee from the 3G subscribers in Pakistan. It is also come to know that these services will initially be available exclusively for postpaid customers of the mobile network companies of Pakistan and the services for prepaid will be available after some time.

The companies applied and qualified for 3G and 4G licenses are Telenor, Zong, Ufone and Mobilink.
