Raising children with healthy eating habits is a challenge for parents. Discover five delicious suggestions for raising a healthy child.

1. Offer fruit as a snack
Children are often hungry when they get home from school. Instead of serving greasy and salty chips, offer a fruit. This is an excellent strategy for growing children because the fruits are not only very plentiful, but they are also not lacking in nutrients. To minimize jeremiads, let the kids choose their favourite fruits at the grocery store.

2. Let them choose
Children like to control what they eat. So let them choose their food. For example, let them choose green vegetables in the freezer to accompany dinner. Even if they choose peas four nights in a row, this choice is still a healthy choice.

3. Discreetly add some vegetables
Spaghetti sauce can hide a variety of vegetables to give your children the nutrition they need without facing their opposition. Also try mixing fruit in a milkshake for dessert instead of using a whipped cream pie full of sugar.

4. Gradually exchange food
Most children won't notice that you've traded white bread for wholemeal bread as long as the sandwich filling remains the same. After a few weeks, try replacing American cheese with low-fat cheese. A few weeks later, exchange ham for low-fat, low-salt chicken or turkey.
By the end of the year, your children will have a healthiest lunch without even noticing any change.

5. Make your own desserts
While it's easy to buy a packet of cookies or a whole cake at the bakery, it's just as easy for a child to eat more than they should at once. If your children are asking for such foods, teach them how to make them at home. Often, extra work is a deterrent to overeating. And you can also choose the recipes and, as a result, avoid unhealthy ingredients, such as high fructose corn syrup.
Forcing children to eat green vegetables can be a tough battle. But with this clever advice, all parents will be able to regain hope.
