PTA extends VPN registration till September 30
The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has extended VPN registration till September 30. PTA officials say the VPN registration deadline has been extended by another two months. Officials say the expansion of VPN registration is aimed at facilitating business and the public.

PTA officials say the expansion was proposed by the Ministry of IT, PSEB and the Pakistan Software Houses Association. Sources said that Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has lifted the ban on online game PubG. Detailed talks with PTA officials of the management of online game PubG were successful.

Sources said that the PubG management briefed the PTA on the steps taken to prevent the harmful effects of the online game. The administration also presented a report on a comprehensive mechanism for children under 16 years of age. Sources said that the PTA management expressed satisfaction over the steps taken by the PubG management and also agreed to strengthen ties.

Sources said that PTA has approved the request of the pub g management and lifted the ban on the game. On the other hand, PTA has also lifted the ban on online chat app Bego. PTA officials say the Begum administration has assured full implementation of the rules in talks with the PTA.
