TOP 5 DIVING SPOTS IN MEXICO
1. COZUMEL
Cozumel is an island off Playa del Carmen world famous for diving! The visibility is really amazing, we see Super far and especially there are some reefs of Phew! Huge corals that shelter Angelfish, lion fish, turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks, morays, lobsters, parrot fish, barracudas.. In short there is life! For the anecdote, Cozumel was discovered by our JJ Cousteau national, thanks JJ!!

2. CENOTES
Impossible not to dive into a Cenote! Already because it is only in Mexico that we can find so it would be a shame to pass by. Then because the dive in itself is just gorgeous and unique. The Cenotes are kilometers of tunnels under water, where the Sun creates incredible light games. Each cennote to its specificity, to you to choose the one you prefer. Personally I dove in Chikin-HA because my diving instructor from Acuaticaribe had advised me this spot. Little known, and we can experience the hacloline (meeting between salt water and freshwater).

3. ISLA MUJERES
Isla Mujeres is also located in the Yucatan Peninsula. Less known and may be less exceptional than Cozumel for some, this spot is yet one of the best in Mexico. What for? Because it houses the seasonal passage of whale sharks! But not that! There are other rare species that come to Isla Mujeres: swordfish and eagle rays. I had already experimented with the whales shark (whale shark, aka the biggest fish in the world) and it's worth a visit, it's really a magical experience!

4. PLAYA DEL CARMEN
Playa del Carmen is a beach near Cancun, very touristy and very Americanized. But its seabed is really beautiful and preserved. Playa is known for its Bulldog sharks, it's even the 3rd world spot to see them (after Fiji and Mozambique). If you like the thrill and especially the rare species, Playa is the spot you need. Accessible for all levels, we also see a lot of turtles and of course hundreds of fish!

5. La Paz
Come on, we go out of Yucatan/Quintana Roo and we head towards... Baja California! All the spots of the Baja are oufs, but the one of La Paz is apparently the best. I didn't have time to go, but if you go that way, it's worth it! It is called "the Aquarium of Mexico" so there are animals to see! Sea lions, sharks, whale sharks, whales, turtles... There's everything!
