It is above two year back when Facebook started to work on Facebook Phone in line with Google’s Nexus phone. These efforts by Facebook are for making a cheap phone featuring high quality application with best ever features which can be total cost of $20. The initial step for that is announced recently by Facebook by launching Facebook for Every Phone application also called Facebook Home application available for Android at Google Play and for iPhone at iTunes Store.

As the Facebook knows it well that the majority of people of the world are not in this position to buy expensive smartphones like iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and other such phones so they are developing a such phone which can be purchased by the poorest people also with simple features.

The Facebook Phone Project is launched in 2011 by hiring the small group of professional by giving the task to develop such cheap Facebook Phone when Facebook purchased the Snaptu. This team initially shrink the Facebook data driver by the Cellular networks which the user browser or use the Facebook website and make it better for fast Facebook browsing and add the features like Chat and Photos to the Phones at the tiny mobile screens.
